Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Remote Industrial Engineer with deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. This fully remote role empowers you to lead improvement initiatives across diverse units, analyze processes, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions from anywhere.

You will apply Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke) and Six Sigma methods (DMAIC/DMADV) to reduce waste, improve quality, and drive KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial engineering experience with Lean/Six Sigma.
• Black Belt or Master Black Belt in Six Sigma required.
• Proficiency in Minitab and JMP for statistical analysis.
• Experience with process mapping and modeling tools.
• Excellent facilitation and change management skills for remote work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-driven Remote Industrial Engineer with deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. You will be responsible for leading initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing quality across our client's diverse operational units. Your primary focus will be on analyzing processes, identifying root causes of problems, and implementing sustainable improvement solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven ability to lead change and achieve measurable results through virtual collaboration and advanced analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Lean and Six Sigma projects across various business units.
• Analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.
• Apply Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke.
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DMADV) to solve complex operational problems.
• Develop and implement statistical process control (SPC) measures to ensure quality and consistency.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams in problem-solving and improvement activities through virtual platforms.
• Develop and deliver training on Lean and Six Sigma principles to employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a significant focus on Lean and Six Sigma implementation.
• Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is required.
• Proven track record of successfully leading Lean and Six Sigma projects with quantifiable results.
• Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills, with proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience with process mapping and modeling tools.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and change management skills, adapted for remote work.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Demonstrated experience in driving operational improvements in manufacturing or service environments.
