Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial engineering focusing on process improvement.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Proficient with process simulation software, data analysis tools, and virtual collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom, Asana).
• Strong remote communication, organizational and project management skills.

This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing and business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data and processes using advanced analytical techniques to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement scalable process improvements, leveraging digital tools and platforms for collaboration and execution.
• Develop and apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize workflows and eliminate waste.
• Create process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for remote dissemination.
• Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams, including operations, production, and management, to drive project success.
• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and provide remote support to ensure continuous improvement and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process improvement.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software, data analysis tools, and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Asana).
• Excellent remote communication, organizational, and project management skills.
