Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Facility Hygiene Specialist for a large national education group. You will develop and implement hygiene protocols across campuses from your home office.

You will lead remote assessments, guide on-site teams, manage cleaning supply chains, and stay aligned with public health guidelines to ensure safe and healthy learning environments for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Health or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in facility hygiene management or public health.
• Proven ability to develop and implement hygiene programs.
• Strong infection control knowledge and practices.
• Excellent remote communication, presentation and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and implement standardized hygiene policies for all facilities.
• Conduct remote virtual assessments of campus facilities and identify improvements.
• Train and guide on-site staff on cleaning, disinfection and waste management best practices.
• Oversee procurement, distribution and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Stay current with public health guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership and safety officers to address hygiene concerns or outbreaks.
• Analyze facility data to track hygiene performance and KPIs.
• Create educational materials and campaigns to promote good hygiene.
• Manage relationships with external cleaning service providers where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
