Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote HVAC Technician to join a fully remote team. You will diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems for field technicians nationwide via remote tools, video calls, and detailed documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC experience, strong communication skills, and EPA 608 Universal certification, with proficiency in remote diagnostic tools and digital documentation platforms. This role offers a fully remote setup and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician with a strong understanding of commercial and residential systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in using remote diagnostic tools, video conferencing software, and digital documentation platforms.
• A strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• EPA 608 Universal certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical assistance and guidance to field technicians for HVAC system diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Analyze system performance data and diagnostic reports to identify root causes of technical issues.
• Develop clear, step-by-step instructions and visual aids to guide field personnel through complex procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including electrical controls and mechanical components.
• Maintain detailed records of remote support interactions, solutions provided, and feedback from field teams.
