Job summary

Medtronic is offering a 12-month Sales Intern program across multiple locations in South Africa. The role blends field-based and office-based work with regular travel to customer facilities and start date in November 2026.

You will work with Sales Representatives and Clinical Specialists to gain commercial, clinical, and customer-facing experience while supporting healthcare professionals and customers in assigned territories.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a health, life, biomedical, medical sciences, nursing, business, or marketing degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Willingness to travel to support customer needs.
• Must be unemployed, a South African citizen, and under 30.
• Must not have participated in a YES programme; not enrolled in postgraduate studies.
• Commit to completing a 12-month internship.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engagement and account management with Sales Representatives and Clinical Specialists.
• Assist with clinical and technical support, product demonstrations, and training under supervision.
• Coordinate administrative tasks: quotations, PO follow-ups, reporting, and records.
• Assist with inventory, stock accuracy, and compliance with procedures.
• Develop knowledge of Medtronic products, therapies, and healthcare pathways.
• Communicate market insights and competitive intelligence via approved channels.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to policies and regulatory requirements.
