Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Sourcing Manager to lead global procurement strategies for critical electronics components. This role emphasizes remote work autonomy and strategic influence across geographies to optimize supply chain resilience.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in a related field and 8+ years in strategic sourcing, with a proven track record in global negotiations, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration to support product roadmaps.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with global scope.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for assigned product categories.
Identify and onboard new suppliers worldwide.
Lead global negotiations for pricing, terms and long-term agreements.
Manage relationships with key suppliers and drive performance improvements.
Conduct market intelligence and risk assessments for supply chain stability.
Collaborate with R&D, engineering and product management to align sourcing with roadmaps.
Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing and value engineering.
Oversee contract management and mitigate related risks.
Develop and implement supplier performance management programs.
Provide mentorship to junior sourcing team members.
