Sand Technologies is a global Physical AI company partnering with governments, cities and enterprises to improve essential systems. We are seeking a Principal Operations Specialist to design and run regional operational systems that power our physical AI solutions.

You will build and manage hub-based capabilities across markets, lead multi-country ops, and ensure consistent delivery while collaborating with Legal, IT Operations and Platform teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure, cloud ops, or technology operations.
• Led operational teams across multiple countries/time zones.
• Built an operations capability from zero (SRE/center) and left it running.
• Fluent operating model: SLAs/SLOs, incident, change mgmt, ITIL/SRE.
• Technical depth to be trusted by engineers: cloud, networking, IAM, Kubernetes, IaC, observability.
• Experience with regulated environments and data residency.
• Multinational leadership and commercial sense.

Responsibilities

• Own regional operational systems, processes and capability.
• Bootstrap and run hubs across regions; ensure consistency.
• Lead hub expansion in new regions end-to-end.
• Operate the Client Value Ops layer across accounts.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT Operations and Platform teams.
• Hire and develop hub leads and engineers in multiple regions.
• Translate hub learnings into global patterns and commitments.
