Job summary

This remote contract role requires HPCSA-registered Medical Practitioner (MBChB/MBBCH or equivalent), with at least 1 year GP experience, strong telemedicine skills, and reliable internet to serve patients through WhatsApp and partner

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Medical Practitioner (MBChB/MBBCh or equivalent) with HPCSA.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
• Telemedicine proficiency including video consultations and remote decision making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations via WhatsApp video call, taking medical histories and performing remote assessments.
• Provide evidence-based treatment plans and issue prescriptions.
• Order and interpret lab investigations through partnered labs and arrange referrals.
• Document consultations accurately and follow telemedicine protocols.
