Placements24 is seeking a remote-friendly Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a distributed team. You will develop web apps with Node.js on the backend and React on the frontend, collaborating across a global team in a remote-first environment. Residency near Benoni, Gauteng is required for admin purposes, but the role is fully remote.

Required 4+ years in full-stack development, strong JS/ES6+, HTML5/CSS3, SQL/NoSQL, Git. Experience with cloud platforms and Docker is a plus.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
• Extensive experience with React.js for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, particularly in a remote context.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Residency/availability in or near Benoni, Gauteng for administrative purposes; fully remote role.
