Placements24 is seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer for a fully remote role in South Africa. You will build scalable back-end services with Node.js (Express) and craft dynamic front-ends with React, HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+, collaborating with a distributed team to deliver web applications for international clients.

The role emphasizes independent work, problem solving, and adherence to modern CI/CD and testing practices, with flexibility in working hours and a strong focus on cloud deployment

Formación

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Strong Node.js and Express.js experience.
• Strong React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript expertise.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Git.
• Experience with CI/CD and testing methodologies.
• Ability to work asynchronously in a remote team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and implement dynamic frontend interfaces with React.
• Integrate back-end services with front-end components for seamless UX.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, testable code across the full stack.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define features.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices.
• Maintain understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deployment pipelines.
