Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer (intermediate) for a remote role. The candidate will build modular, scalable frontends using ReactJS, TypeScript, and CSS, collaborating on design systems and performance optimizations.

You'll contribute to testing strategies, architecture decisions, and mentoring junior developers while engaging in client demos and internal hiring processes as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years with a modern JS stack (ReactJS, Svelte, VueJS or Angular 2+)
• Expert knowledge of CSS and pixel-perfect components from design (Figma)
• Experience with ReactJS, Storybook.js, TypeScript, or ClojureScript
• Frontend analytics and performance optimization
• Experience implementing testing strategies
• Developing and maintaining design systems
• Willingness to learn some ClojureScript

Responsibilities

• Build the systems! In particular, build beautiful, modular and scalable frontends
• Contribute to how they test, integrate and deploy code
• Contribute to architecture and technology choices going forward
• Coach and mentor junior team members
• Help with hiring processes within the team
• Attend client demos and sales presentations alongside business development staff where required
