Placements24 seeks a specialized Remote Forensic Accountant to join the team in a fully remote capacity. The role requires a sharp investigative mind to analyze complex financial data, detect fraud, and support internal investigations and legal proceedings.

The ideal candidate will have a CA(SA) or CPA with a Forensic Accounting specialization (CFE), at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency with forensic software and data analytics tools.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or CPA with Forensic Accounting specialization (CFE).
• Minimum of 5 years in forensic accounting or related fields.
• Proficiency with forensic software and data analytics tools.
• Strong report writing and remote-work capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial investigations into fraud, embezzlement, and financial irregularities.
• Analyze financial records, transaction trails, and electronic data to uncover evidence of misconduct.
• Prepare forensic accounting reports detailing findings, methodologies, and evidence.
• Assist legal counsel with expert witness testimony and litigation support.
• Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and controls.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other stakeholders as required.
