Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Technical Sanitation Consultant for our international hospitality and food-service clients. You will analyze operations remotely, develop HACCP/GMP hygiene plans, and guide implementation using digital tools.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Food Science or related field, 8+ years of sanitation experience, strong regulatory knowledge (FDA, EFSA, ISO 22000), and excellent remote communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a technical field such as Food Science, Microbiology, or Public Health.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical sanitation or food safety, with consulting exposure.
• Strong knowledge of FDA/EFSA regulations and ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical sanitation consulting to clients.
• Analyze client data to identify sanitation risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop customized sanitation plans including HACCP, GMP, and hygiene protocols.
• Advise on cleaning technologies and equipment selection.
• Conduct virtual training sessions and workshops for client staff.
• Prepare reports and roadmaps outlining findings and recommendations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with clients via video, email, and phone to ensure project success.
• Assist clients in achieving certifications and accreditations.
• Manage multiple projects remotely with timely delivery.
