Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist for a fully remote role in the FMCG sector. You will analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop data-driven strategies for inventory, forecasting, and network design using Excel, SQL, Python, and ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis and optimization, preferably FMCG.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and simulation tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R, specialized supply chain software).
• Proven track record of cost savings and efficiency gains from supply chain improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve inventory management, forecasting, and network design.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools to model supply chain scenarios and evaluate solutions.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and sales teams to drive seamless execution.
• Track and report KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Optimize transportation routes, modes and carrier performance to reduce costs and transit times.
• Implement best practices in warehousing and distribution for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support new supply chain technologies and systems implementations.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining or improving service levels.
