Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Supply Chain Manager for a leading FMCG client. You will design and optimize end-to-end supply chain strategies, oversee demand planning, inventory, warehousing, and transportation, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

A strong track record in FMCG and multi-channel networks is essential. You will lead a remote team, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and leverage ERP/WMS/TMS systems to forecast, plan, and improve delivery performance in a fast-paced, remote

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Admin or related field.
Master’s degree or APICS certification is highly desirable.
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, FMCG preferred.
Proven track record managing complex, multi-channel supply chains.
Expertise in demand planning, inventory optimization, WMS, TMS, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies for efficient goods flow.
Oversee demand planning, inventory, warehousing and transportation for FMCG portfolio.
Identify cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across the supply chain.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and logistics partners.
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
Use analytics to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and reduce delivery times.
Collaborate with sales, marketing and production to align operations.
Lead and mentor a remote team of supply chain professionals.
Stay updated on industry best practices, tech trends, and regulatory changes.
