About the Role Our client, a leader in agricultural technology and management, is seeking an experienced Remote Farm Operations Manager to oversee and optimize agricultural operations from a distance. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your expertise to manage diverse farming activities without the need for physical presence on-site. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of farm management principles, including crop production, livestock management, resource allocation, and financial oversight. You will be responsible for coordinating with on-farm teams, utilizing technology to monitor progress, analyzing operational data, and ensuring efficient and sustainable farm practices. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple farms remotely, ensuring efficient execution of crop and/or livestock management plans.
• Develop and manage farm budgets, P&L statements, and resource allocation to maximize profitability and efficiency.
• Coordinate with and provide direction to on-site farm supervisors and teams, ensuring adherence to operational standards.
• Utilize farm management software, sensor data, and other technologies to monitor crop health, livestock conditions, and operational progress.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in yield, cost reduction, and sustainability.
• Implement and enforce company policies, safety protocols, and environmental stewardship practices across all managed farms.
• Manage supply chain logistics, including procurement of inputs and coordination of product sales.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in farm operations.
• Prepare regular operational reports and performance reviews for senior management.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in farm management, with a proven track record of managing diverse agricultural operations.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and operational planning within agriculture.
• Proficiency with farm management software, data analytics tools, and remote monitoring technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams remotely.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
