Placements24 in South Africa seeks a highly analytical E-Sports Performance Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will collect, analyze, and interpret match and scrimmage data, build models, and provide actionable insights to coaches to sharpen performance across titles.

You’ll track player development, research opponent meta, and collaborate with coaching staff to weave data-driven recommendations into training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a performance analyst in e-sports or related competitive field.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, statistical software (R, Python), and visualization tools.
• Deep understanding of competitive gaming dynamics, strategy and meta-trends across multiple e-sports titles.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret performance data from scrimmages, matches, and player metrics.
• Develop advanced analytical models and reports to identify strategic advantages and areas for improvement.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to coaches and players to optimize performance.
• Track player development and performance against key metrics and objectives.
• Research opponent strategies, game meta, and emerging trends within specific e-sports titles.
• Collaborate with coaching staff to integrate data-driven insights into training regimens and strategies.
