Ideal candidates hold a public health or environmental science background with 5+ years in sanitation. Travel may be infrequent for oversight, and collaboration with international partners is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, Sanitation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental sanitation, public health, or a related field.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting, managing projects and collaborating virtually.
• Strong understanding of sanitation principles, waste management, water quality, and hygiene promotion.
• Excellent analytical, research, and data interpretation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing educational materials.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement community-based sanitation improvement programs and strategies.
• Conduct remote assessments of environmental sanitation conditions in targeted areas using data analysis and virtual communication tools.
• Provide technical guidance and support to local partners, community health workers, and stakeholders on sanitation best practices, including waste management and hygiene.
• Create and disseminate educational materials and resources on sanitation and public health for diverse audiences.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sanitation interventions, reporting on key performance indicators.
• Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in environmental sanitation and public health.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate sanitation initiatives into broader public health programs.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and training sessions for partners and community members.
• Contribute to grant writing and program proposal development related to sanitation projects.
