Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As an SDR you will research, source and book meetings with qualified decision makers, shaping the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will own the top of the funnel, craft personalized outreach, and maintain accurate Salesforce/SalesLoft records while hitting volume goals with high-quality touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role or SaaS/agency experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
