Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Online English Language Tutor to provide remote instruction to learners of all ages and levels. You will craft personalized lessons to boost conversation, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, using Zoom and digital whiteboards to engage students.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in English or related field, TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification, and proven ESL teaching experience online, with strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is highly preferred.
• Proven ESL teaching experience, online preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Skype) and digital whiteboards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and effective English language lessons via online platforms, tailoring content to individual student needs.
• Develop personalized lesson plans focusing on conversational fluency, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to foster motivation and progress.
• Utilize a variety of online teaching tools and resources to create an interactive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress, set achievable goals, and report on achievements regularly.
