Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Online Language Instructor to teach English to non-native speakers in a fully remote role. You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt materials to different levels, and provide clear feedback to help students improve conversation, grammar and vocabulary.

The position offers flexible scheduling, global student base, and access to teaching resources. A Bachelor's degree and ESL certification are typical requirements, with TEFL/TESOL/CELTA highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or related field.
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience teaching English as a second language (ESL) or foreign language (EFL).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills adapted for virtual settings.
• Proficiency with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and digital learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and engaging online English lessons to individuals and small groups.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans, materials, and activities for various proficiency levels.
• Provide constructive feedback on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
• Foster a supportive online learning environment that promotes participation and confidence.
• Assess student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and conversational practice.
