Jobgether is seeking an experienced English-to-German linguist and copy editor for a remote freelance role. You will work on localization for marketing, product, and UI content for German-speaking audiences in Germany and Switzerland, with a workload of 5,000+ words per week.

Translate from US English to German (de-DE/de-CH), copy-edit for natural, accurate language, and perform MTPE. You will use CAT tools and collaborate with a global team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Competenze

• German native-level proficiency for de-DE/de-CH.
• Excellent US English (en-US) with accurate German rendering.
• 2 years translation experience or 5 years without a degree.
• Experience translating marketing, product, UI, support, and informational materials.
• Experience using CAT tools.
• Attention to detail with high‑quality translations.
• Strong time management to meet weekly 5,000+ words deadlines.
• Excellent communication and reliability.
• Freelance independence within a global team.
