Placements24 is seeking a Remote Energy Market Analyst to join our strategic analysis team from home. You will monitor global and regional energy markets, forecast energy commodities, and assess regulatory and technological impacts to guide executive decision-making.

You will develop market reports, support strategic planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on investment risk and opportunities in a dynamic energy landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in energy market analysis, financial analysis, or strategic consulting within the energy industry.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, including conventional and renewable sources.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, statistical software, databases).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze global and regional energy markets, including supply, demand, pricing, and trends.
• Develop forecasts and predictive models for energy commodities (oil, gas, coal, renewables) and power prices.
• Assess the impact of regulatory policies, geopolitical events, and technological innovations on market dynamics.
• Prepare detailed market reports, presentations, and actionable insights for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and risk management.
