Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Employment Lawyer to join a dispersed legal team. This fully remote role covers South Africa, requiring deep expertise in employment law, contract drafting, dispute management, and HR policy development.

The ideal candidate is an admitted SA attorney with 6+ years in employment law, able to work autonomously, communicate clearly, and navigate remote workflows efficiently. Your work will influence compliance and employee wellbeing nationwide.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with at least 6 years post-admission experience in Employment Law.
• Proven ability to handle complex disputes and provide strategic legal advice.
• Strong knowledge of SA labour legislation and case law.

Responsibilities

• Advise on all employment law matters including contracts, disputes, and compliance.
• Draft and update employment agreements and HR policies in line with legislation.
• Manage grievances, disciplinary processes, and CCMA/Bargaining Council disputes.
