Job summary

AfterQuery is seeking experienced primary education teachers to author and grade elementary classroom scenarios used to evaluate frontier AI models. Contractors write realistic scenarios, develop reference answers with developmental reasoning, and assess model outputs for age-appropriateness and instructional accuracy.

This fully remote, asynchronous role pays $35–$65 per hour and is paid weekly via Stripe. Expect ongoing project work with a flexible 10+ hours weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires teaching license or certification with a primary education endorsement
• 2+ years of primary-level teaching experience
• Depth in early literacy and numeracy instruction
• Clear written English for documenting pedagogical reasoning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Author realistic primary classroom scenarios from planning through assessment
• Write reference answers with developmental reasoning behind each choice
• Grade model output for age-appropriateness and instructional accuracy
• Flag activities that look engaging but teach nothing
