AfterQuery is seeking undergraduate contributors for a remote, project-based AI evaluation research role. You will apply your domain knowledge to evaluate, write, and validate content requiring genuine academic expertise.

Projects are asynchronous and scheduled to fit your academic timetable, with an expectation of up to 10 hours per week per project window. Responsibilities include assessing materials for accuracy, providing structured rationale, and interpreting discipline-specific visuals.

Qualifications

• This is a remote, project-based role for undergraduates with strong academic standing.
• Ability to produce clear, well-reasoned written explanations of domain-specific judgments.
• Familiarity with visual conventions and technical vocabulary in your discipline.
• Reliable internet access and asynchronous, remote work availability.
• Strong English writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, write, and validate content requiring genuine academic knowledge.
• Assess materials for accuracy, depth, and quality from a trained specialist perspective.
• Identify errors, ambiguities, or gaps invisible to non-experts.
• Provide structured written rationale and feedback for each evaluation decision.
• Interpret visual or diagrammatic content specific to your field.
• Complete a defined set of annotation tasks within each project window (10–20 hrs/week).
