Job summary

Placements24 invites applications for a Remote Apprentice Electrician program. Training is conducted online with access to resources and virtual mentorship, while occasional site visits enable practical assessments and hands-on training as required by the module and location.

You will learn electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting via interactive modules, simulations and remote workshops, preparing you for a qualified electrician career.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent with solid Mathematics and Physical Science foundations.
• Remote learning with strong self-discipline and motivation.
• Willingness to attend scheduled on-site practical training or assessments as required.
• Proficiency with computers and navigating online learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Complete all online modules and virtual training sessions related to electrical theory and safety.
• Actively participate in virtual Q&A sessions and remote workshops.
• Study and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and wiring schematics provided digitally.
• Engage in simulated practical exercises and problem-solving scenarios remotely.
• Undertake scheduled practical training or assessments at designated locations as required by the apprenticeship framework.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with mentors and supervisors via online platforms.
