Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote Virtual Childcare Coordinator & Educator to design, deliver, and coordinate online learning for children aged 3-8. You will create curricula, run live sessions, and provide one-on-one support with families.

The role requires a BA/BS in ECE or related field, 5+ years in childcare (2+ online), and proficiency with Zoom, Meet, and LMS. Work from home with flexible scheduling and global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in childcare/teaching, with at least 2 years online.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development for children.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Google Meet and LMS.
• Excellent digital literacy and comfort with educational technology tools.
• Strong understanding of child psychology and development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain organization.
• Patient, empathetic, and creative approach to online teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and curate engaging online curriculum and lesson plans for various age groups.
• Facilitate live, interactive virtual learning sessions.
• Provide individualized virtual support to children and families.
• Coordinate and manage virtual class schedules and ensure smooth delivery.
• Assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents.
• Maintain clear communication with families via email, video calls, and platform messaging.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during sessions.
• Stay updated on best practices in online education and child development.
• Manage administrative tasks related to virtual class coordination.
