Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Junior E-commerce Social Media Coordinator for a full-time internship. This remote role offers hands-on training in content creation, scheduling, analytics, and community management across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.

You will support the marketing team with engaging content, trends research, and campaigns while developing essential digital marketing skills. You will gain mentorship in a remote-friendly environment, contributing fresh ideas to boost brand

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Strong passion for social media marketing and familiarity with major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest).
• Basic content creation skills and Canva familiarity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
• Keen interest in ecommerce, handmade goods, or home decor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and curating engaging content for social media platforms, including graphics, captions, and short videos.
• Schedule social media posts across various channels using provided tools.
• Monitor social channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and assist in responding to inquiries.
• Engage with the online community to foster brand loyalty.
• Help track basic social media metrics and assist in reports.
• Research social media trends, competitor activities, and industry news.
• Support campaigns and content calendars with the marketing team.
• Ensure brand voice and visual consistency across all social media communications.
• Assist with influencer outreach and collaborations as directed.
• Perform administrative tasks related to social media management and marketing efforts.
