Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Retail Specialist to manage online sales channels remotely, with a focus on the Port Elizabeth market. You will oversee listings, digital marketing, customer engagement, and order fulfillment to drive growth and improve the online customer experience.

The role requires strong e-commerce and digital marketing expertise, including SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns, and analytics, plus the ability to work independently in a remote setting

Qualifications

• Proven experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing for online retail.
• Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing and email marketing platforms.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and analytics tools such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and Google Analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content.
• Analytical and data-driven, capable of independent remote work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize product listings on the e-commerce website, ensuring accuracy, compelling descriptions, and high-quality imagery.
• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
• Monitor website performance and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Oversee the online customer service function, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
