Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote E-commerce Specialist to manage and optimize online retail operations supporting Richards Bay. You will drive online sales, improve the customer journey, and ensure smooth platform performance from your remote location.

You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize listings, promotions, SEO/SEM, and analytics. A self-motivated, data-driven professional with strong communication is essential for success in a fully remote role.

Qualifications

Experience in e-commerce management and online retail operations.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, email marketing and social media.
Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento) and analytics tools (Google Analytics).
Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and drive business decisions.
Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to work autonomously.
Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website for optimal performance and user experience.
Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales, conversions, and average order value.
Create and manage product listings with descriptions, images, and pricing.
Analyze website traffic and sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
Coordinate with marketing to execute SEO, SEM and social media campaigns.
Oversee order fulfillment and customer service processes for online orders.
