Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly qualified Remote Drug Safety Physician to strengthen its pharmacovigilance team. The physician will assess adverse event data, lead signal detection, and contribute to global regulatory safety reporting from a home office.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in pharmacovigilance, MD or equivalent training, and board certification in a relevant specialty. The role emphasizes independent work and collaboration with regulators worldwide.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree.
• 5–7 years of pharmacovigilance/drug safety experience.
• Experience in PSUR/DSUR preparation and regulatory safety documents.
• In-depth knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical review of adverse event reports.
• Lead signal detection and safety evaluation activities.
• Contribute to PSURs, DSURs and regulatory safety documents.
• Provide medical guidance to regulatory, clinical and R&D teams.
• Collaborate on risk management plans (RMPs).
• Serve as medical contact for regulatory agencies.
• Support safety risk-benefit assessments and lifecycle decisions.
• Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance guidelines.
• Mentor remote drug safety team members.
