Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Digital Marketing Coordinator to support a fast-paced startup in the e-learning space. This entry-level role focuses on executing campaigns across social, email, content, and paid channels while you learn and grow with the team.

You will manage content calendars, draft communications, track metrics, and collaborate with stakeholders to extend the company’s online reach from anywhere in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Experience with Canva, Hootsuite, or analytics tools is a plus.
• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Manage social media content calendars, schedule posts, and monitor engagement.
• Support the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns.
• Help draft and edit marketing copy for various digital channels, including website content and blog posts.
• Assist in tracking and reporting on key digital marketing metrics.
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaign success.
• Update website content and manage digital assets.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
