Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Data Surveillance Analyst to support Data Surveillance Plans, review project data, and present findings to project teams. The role is home-based in selected EMEA locations and requires hands-on programming in SAS, R, or SQL, plus RBQM experience.

Candidates should have a medical/biological/sciences or data analytics degree, fluent English, and strong analytical and communication skills to work in a global, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in medical, biological sciences, pharmacy, or data analytics.
• Fluent English.
• Hands-on programming in SAS, R, and/or SQL is required.
• Experience with RBQM processes and data surveillance methods.
• Familiarity with centralized monitoring and Data Driven Monitoring practices.
• Proficient in data analysis, trend identification, and issue triage.
• Proficient with CTMS, EDMS, MS Office.
• Basic understanding of SDTM domains.
• Experience with CluePoints is a strong asset.
• Client-focused with ability to work in matrix/global teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong time management and multitasking.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of a robust Data Surveillance Plan (DSP) with KRIs and QTLs.
• Configure and maintain Data Surveillance technologies (e.g., CluePoints).
• Create data import mappings for data sources and set up KRIs.
• Create and set up statistical analysis parameters.
• Review data to support DS plans and project reviews.
• Document findings in DS Findings Form and Issue Tracking systems.
• Provide feedback to tech teams to identify solutions.
• Identify data quality trends and escalate issues.
• Participate in investigator and internal/external audits as needed.
• Collaborate with DS team to correlate findings from sources.
• Support DS Review meetings and drive actions.
• Compile signals/actions into client-ready lists.
• Document actions in CluePoints Issue Management system.
• Complete, share, and file Central Monitoring Reports.
