Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer in South Africa, dedicated to a single sponsor, with strong SAS and CDISC expertise. The role involves leading a statistical programming team, delivering SDTM/ADaM datasets, and ensuring QC and regulatory readiness.

Remote work is available, with potential on-site as needed. The candidate should have 3+ years of clinical programming experience, a solid understanding of CDISC standards, and excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAS.
• Strong clinical/pharmaceutical statistical programming experience (min 3 years).
• Experience handling upstream data (multi-form data, workflow, eDC).
• Ability to deliver outputs for downstream requirements (ADaM, DDT, e-submission).
• Proficient in analytical programming and data structuring.
• Excellent analytical skills and English communication.
• Deep understanding of clinical data structures and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: lead statistical programming timelines and coordinate a programming team to meet study timelines and budgets.
• Statistical Programming for Assigned Projects: develop/ QC derived datasets (SDTM, ADaM/TLF), tables, figures, listings, and submission documents.
• Ensure QC aligns with CSR, SOPs, ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements; interact with sponsors and internal stakeholders.
