Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Data Manager to oversee clinical trial data from start-up through lock and archiving in a fully remote capacity. You will design CRFs, validate databases, and ensure data integrity while collaborating with operations, biostatistics, and programming teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in clinical data management, strong ICH-GCP knowledge, and experience with EDC systems such as Medidata Rave or Oracle Clinical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, life sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data management.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Manager to oversee the management of clinical trial data in a fully remote capacity. This critical role involves ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of clinical trial datasets from study start-up through database lock and archiving. You will work closely with clinical operations, biostatistics, and programming teams to establish data management plans, design case report forms (CRFs), and validate databases. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to the successful execution of global clinical research programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Data Management Plans (DMPs) for clinical trials.
• Design and review electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
• Oversee the process of data cleaning, discrepancy management, and query resolution.
• Validate clinical databases and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians and programmers to define data analysis requirements.
• Perform database lock activities upon completion of data cleaning and validation.
• Ensure data archival and retention according to regulatory guidelines.

Requirements
