Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Decentralized Application (dApp) Developer to join our fully remote team, building robust Web3 applications on blockchain platforms.

You’ll work with front-end interfaces, smart contracts, and backend services; require a CS degree, 2+ years web dev (1+ year dApp), and JS/TS with React or Vue.js, plus Web3.js or Ethers.js. Experience with wallets and dApp UX is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in web development, with at least 1 year focused on dApp development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React/Vue.js.
• Experience interacting with smart contracts using libraries like Web3.js or Ethers.js.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts, wallets (e.g., MetaMask), and transaction processes.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles for decentralized applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy decentralized applications (dApps) on various blockchain platforms.
• Integrate front-end interfaces with smart contracts and backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for dApp components.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to create engaging user experiences.
• Optimize dApps for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
