Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Remote Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor and protect digital assets from cyber threats. Operating fully remotely, you will analyze security alerts, conduct investigations, and implement measures to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

The role requires hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR, incident response, forensics, and threat intelligence, plus relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst.
• Solid knowledge of threat intelligence, risk management, and security frameworks.
• Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, and firewall technologies.
• Experience with incident response and forensics.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS) for threats and anomalies, responding to alerts in a timely manner.
• Conduct incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.

About the Role

Operating entirely remotely, you will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating potential breaches, and implementing measures to enhance the organization's security posture.
