Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Culinary & Menu Consultant to guide menu development and culinary strategy from a remote setting. You will leverage trends, recipe creation, and kitchen operations knowledge to advise on enhancing offerings and driving innovation for a growing catering brand.

The role involves collaborating with the internal culinary team to refine menus, conceptualize new dishes, and ensure outputs align with market demands and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in culinary arts, menu development, or professional cheffing, preferably in catering or hospitality.
• Proven track record of creating successful and innovative menus.
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of food costing and profitability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation on menu design, recipe development, and culinary innovation for catering services.
• Analyze current menus for appeal, profitability, and operational feasibility, recommending improvements.
• Research and identify emerging food trends, ingredients, and techniques relevant to catering.
• Collaborate remotely with chefs and operational teams to test and refine new dishes and menu concepts.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for new recipes, including precise ingredient lists and preparation methods.
• Advise on food costing, sourcing, and quality control measures to ensure efficiency and consistency.
