Job summary

Lula is seeking a sharp and experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join our fully remote financial services team. You will assess credit risk, analyze financial data, and contribute to a robust risk framework in a virtual work environment.

Ideal candidate has 4+ years in credit analysis, proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and strong communication skills to report to senior management while collaborating with lending teams to ensure policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a related banking/financial services role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of credit risk principles, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data sources to evaluate creditworthiness of applicants and counterparties.
• Develop, implement, and maintain credit scoring models and risk assessment methodologies.
• Monitor existing credit exposures, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate actions.
• Prepare regular reports on credit risk metrics, trends, and portfolio quality for senior management.
• Collaborate with lending teams and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to credit policies and regulatory requirements.
