Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote Content and Communications Lead to define and execute a comprehensive content strategy across website, blog, social media, emails, and whitepapers. You will manage brand messaging, oversee the editorial calendar, and collaborate with marketing, product, and sales to ensure accurate and engaging content.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in content/communications for tech, exceptional writing, SEO familiarity, and strong remote-work habits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
5+ years in content creation, content marketing, or communications, preferably in tech.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading with a strong portfolio.
Experience managing social media and creating engaging content.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
Experience with CMS and marketing automation tools.
Strong brand voice development and messaging skills.
Excellent organizational skills for remote multi-project work.
Creative, data-driven content strategy mindset.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with marketing and business goals.
Create engaging, on-brand content for website, blog, social media, newsletters, and whitepapers.
Manage social media presence, content planning, posting, and community engagement.
Oversee editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales to gather information and ensure accuracy.
Monitor content performance, analyze metrics, and optimize engagement and lead gen.
Maintain consistent brand voice across all communications.
Research trends and competitor content to identify opportunities.
Assist in developing PR materials and broader communication initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with latest content marketing and digital communication practices.
