Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Community Engagement Coordinator to foster connections and coordinate support within diverse communities. This fully remote role focuses on identifying community needs, organizing digital initiatives, and promoting engagement to enhance wellbeing and empowerment across the Eastern Cape.

You will build relationships with community leaders, coordinate online events, and connect residents with social services, education, and health resources.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or program coordination.
• Proven experience in utilizing digital tools and platforms for communication and engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences virtually.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
