About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Cloud Security Engineer to join their distributed team, supporting their operations in Kimberley . This role is fundamental in designing, implementing, and managing security controls within our cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will be responsible for protecting our cloud infrastructure and data from sophisticated threats, ensuring compliance, and promoting a secure cloud adoption strategy. This position offers the ultimate flexibility to work from anywhere, contributing to a secure and robust cloud presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud services and infrastructure, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) controls in the cloud.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
