Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Clinical Data Manager for a fully remote position based in South Africa. You will oversee data collection, validation, and database lock to ensure accuracy and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities include CRF design, data management plans, data review, validation, and collaboration with biostatisticians and programmers to deliver high-quality datasets for analyses and study reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or healthcare-related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical data management.
• Proficiency with EDC systems (Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
• Strong knowledge of GCP and data management best practices.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of clinical databases, including CRF design and edit check specifications.
• Develop and implement data management plans (DMPs) for assigned clinical trials.
• Manage data review activities, ensuring timely identification and resolution of data discrepancies.
• Perform data validation checks and ensure data consistency across all study sites and databases.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians and programmers to ensure data quality and readiness for analysis.
• Prepare for and support database lock activities for clinical study reports.
