About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Cleaning Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, primarily focusing on operations within the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of cleaning best practices, and the ability to effectively assess and report on the quality of cleaning services delivered. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing QA protocols, conducting virtual audits, and collaborating with on-site teams to drive continuous improvement in sanitation performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine quality assurance protocols for cleaning and sanitation services.
• Conduct remote, virtual audits and assessments of cleaning performance based on provided data and reporting from on-site staff.
• Analyze cleaning reports and identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to cleaning teams and site supervisors to enhance service quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes, findings, and corrective actions.
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in cleaning and sanitation.
• Collaborate with management to set performance benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) for cleaning services.
• Investigate quality-related complaints or issues and facilitate their resolution.
• Develop training materials and resources related to quality standards for cleaning staff.
• Ensure consistent application of cleaning and sanitation standards across all assigned facilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably within the cleaning, sanitation, or facilities management industries.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning methodologies, hygiene standards, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate feedback and recommendations.
