Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a qualified Remote Child Psychologist specializing in early intervention to join our virtual clinical team. You will assess and treat young children (0-6) and support families through telehealth platforms, from anywhere.

The role focuses on development, emotional and behavioural support using evidence-based interventions. Requirements include a Doctorate in Clinical Child Psychology and HPCSA registration, with at least five years of relevant experience and comfort

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical Child Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).
• Registered with HPCSA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years working with young children and families.
• Experience delivering services via telehealth.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical and therapeutic skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for young children.
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for developmental, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
• Provide parent coaching to enhance home-based interventions and family functioning.
• Collaborate with pediatricians and other professionals via virtual channels.
• Maintain confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
