Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Child Psychologist and Behavioral Consultant to support families in and around Pretoria. The role focuses on remote assessments, therapy, and behavioral guidance for children and adolescents, using secure telehealth platforms to deliver confidential care across Gauteng.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (child specialization), is licensed to practice in South Africa, and has at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with child specialization required.
• Licensed to practice psychology in South Africa and eligible to practice remotely.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with children/adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions via secure video conferencing.
• Offer behavioral consultations and guidance to parents/caregivers.
