About the Role Our client, a global leader in specialty chemicals, is seeking a talented Remote Chemical Process Development Engineer to join their innovative product development team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing new chemical processes for a diverse range of high-performance materials. This role requires a deep understanding of chemical kinetics, reaction engineering, and separation technologies, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with R&D chemists and engineers to translate laboratory innovations into scalable and commercially viable manufacturing processes. Your contributions will be vital in bringing next-generation specialty chemical products to market.

Requirements

• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation processes.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD) and data analysis tools.
• Experience with hazard analysis techniques and process safety principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, crucial for remote collaboration.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively from concept to implementation.
• Experience with scale-up challenges and considerations for industrial chemical production.
