Sbv Services seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations remotely for a mining-focused business. The role demands strategic oversight of budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and investor relations to support growth and operational aims.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in financial leadership, including at least 5 years as CFO/VP Finance, with deep mining sector exposure and strong remote team management abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive role (CFO, VP Finance).
• Extensive mining or natural resources sector experience.
• Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and remote team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, corporate finance, and investment management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting.
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.
• Implement robust financial risk management policies and procedures.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards.
