Job summary

Assist World is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to manage high-volume vendor invoices remotely. You will review, code, and reconcile invoices using Hubdoc and Xero, while supporting monthly closings and AP aging reporting.

Candidates should have 2 years in AP, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a cloud-based environment. This is a 100% remote role supporting USA/Canada operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably high volume.
• Proficient with Hubdoc and Xero accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience working in a remote/cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and code high-volume vendor invoices using Hubdoc.
• Perform regular vendor statement reconciliations to locate missing invoices.
• Apply payments using Xero and manage AP inquiries via phone or email.
• Approve invoices per internal matrix and support monthly closings.
• Post to GL with accuracy and monitor internal controls.
• Prepare AP aging reports and ensure timely payments.
• Assist year-end processes and maintain documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
